Purpose: to stimulate effort, reward achievement, promote those qualities of character that make for good citizenship, and to encourage and assist its members to continue their education after high school.

 

To be considered for membership a student must:
1. be in the 10th grade
2. have a cumulative scholastic GPA of 3.5 or above
3. exemplify worthy character (clear discipline record), good mentality, creditable achievement, and commendable attitude.
4. be found acceptable upon completion of student information sheet
pay dues by the stated deadline

 

Projects completed this semester:

1. Baton Rouge Food Bank: The food bank is in crucial need of monetary and food assistance to help meet significantly increased needs. In addition to normal non-perishable food donations and to assist in supplementing the meals at the shelters, donate individually wrapped personal servings of chips, cookies, granola bars, candy bars, fruit cups and personal serving sized bottles of water, fruit juices, ets.


2. Women’s Hope Center: The Women’s Hope center in Denham Springs needs diapers, wipes formula, baby food, juice, car seats, baby bedding, new baby bottles, baby clothing. Anything a mother and baby/toddler can use

3. Toys for Tots: We will also collect new toys for needy children to donate to Toys for Tots this year. Toys must be new and unwrapped.
