Spanish Club The Spanish Club is for students who are taking Spanish II, III, and IV. Membership requirements are that students must be enrolled in Spanish II, III, or IV during the time of membership. All students must participate in the two mandatory projects: (1) bring a box for American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and (2) bring nonperishable goods for the Thanksgiving Adopt a Family project. The club buys the ham and/or turkey. The Spanish club also donates a Christmas wreath to a local nursing home. The club has international foods in every meeting and the students enjoy tasting all the different foods. Sometimes the members make Mexican paper flowers or dance Latin dances such as the Mexican La Raspa. But mostly, the hungry members look forward to eating many different foods. |
