MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
The 23 Carnegie units listed below AND a passing score on all required portions of the Graduation Exit Exam:

ENGLISH 4 units Shall be English I, English II, English III and English IV or
or Business English

Effective for incoming Freshmen 1999-2000 through 2004-2005

Shall be selected from the following courses and may include a maximum of 2 entry level courses (designated by E0: Introductory Algebra/Geometry (E), Algebra I Part 2, Integrated Mathematics I (E), Integrated Mathematics II, Integrated Mathematics III, Applied Mathematics I (E), Applied Mathematics II, Applied Mathematics III, Algebra I (E), Geometry, Algebra II, Financial Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics I, Advanced Mathematics II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Probability and Statistics, and Discrete Mathematics.

Effective for incoming Freshman 2005-2006 and thereafter

All students must complete one of the following:
Algebra 1 or Algebra 1 Pt. 1 and Algebra 1-pt. 2, or Integrated Mathematics 1.
The remaining unit(s) shall come from the following: integrated Mathematics 2, Integrated Mathematics 3. Geometry, Alegbra 2, Financial Mathematics, Advanced Mathematic 1, Advanced Mathematics 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Probability and Statistics, or Discrete Mathematics.

SCIENCE 3 units Shall be Biology and two of the following: Physical
Science, Biology II, Environmental Science, Physics,
Chemistry, and Chemistry II. Agriculture I and II
Combined will satisfy one science credit requirement.


SOCIAL STUDIES 3 units Shall be American History, ½ Civics, ½ Free Enterprise STUDIES and one of the following: World Geography or World
History.
P.E. 1½ units Shall be P.E. I (1/2) and P.E. II (Both). A maximum of
3 ½ units may be used toward graduation.
