SOPHOMORE INFORMATION

PLAN – This test is produced by ACT and is considered a preliminary ACT test to be taken by sophomore students. Test results will indicate a “predictive” composite range for the ACT exam.

LEAP 21 – Sophomores will complete the English Language Arts and Mathematics portions of the test. The English and Math portions of the GEE 21 must both be passed as part of the state mandated graduation requirements. Attendance during the week of testing is very important.

TOPS – All students should consider the core course requirements to qualify for TOPS when selecting course requests for the following school year. Counselors are available to assist you, however, the final responsibility of correct course selection is the student/parent’s responsibility. Also, it is important to remember that the TOPS Core Unit GPA will be calculated only from the required core courses to determine TOPS eligibility.
